Dr. Tim grew up in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. In 2002, he graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. He then completed three additional years of specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry. This specialized program of study and hands-on experience prepared him to meet the unique needs of infants, children and adolescents, including those with special health care needs. Dr. Tim received a Master’s degree in Dental Public Health at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, as well as the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and the Center for Disabilities and Development.
He is a member of the following dental organizations: Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Greater Dallas Pediatric Dental Society, Texas Dental Society, and North Texas Dental Society.
Dr. Tim decided to specialize in pediatric dentistry because after being a general dentist, he realized that when he was working with children, he felt like he was making a difference. He believes kids are like sponges, just waiting for someone with a little patience to show them how to do things.
Dr. Tim feels it is very important to offer our patients complete, comprehensive care. That is why the practice expanded to offer general dentistry services to our pediatric patients’ parents at our sister office – Stonebridge Ranch Dentistry. Now, we offer one more option – orthodontics – at TPD Smiles. Providing our patients with quality and ease of convenience gives them the opportunity to receive all their care in one place with providers and team they already know and trust.
In his spare time, Dr. Tim likes spending time with his wife, Heather, and their five children – Paige, Hayden, Asher, Trinity, and Hunter; restoring old cars; camping; cooking; and visiting small towns in Texas.
